Goals:

• For the people of Wisconsin:
1. To provide high caliber professional orchestra concerts at a reasonable cost.
• Locally, in Milwaukee, and southeastern Wisconsin.
• To smaller Wisconsin communities no otherwise served by professional caliber musical groups (The Education and Outreach Project ).
2. To inspire and support young Wisconsin musicians, thus encouraging the continuation of strong arts education in the state (The Education and Outreach Project ).
• For the musicians of Wisconsin:
1. To bring together the state's top professional wind and percussion players for concentrated rehearsals and performances.
2. To feature in performance and recordings the top soloists from the Milwaukee Symphony as well as other nationally acclaimed artists living in Wisconsin (The Education and Outreach Project ).
3. To program and record the best examples of both traditional and contemporary wind music (The Education and Outreach Project ).
• For the international business and arts communities:
1. To develop mentoring relationships with wind orchestras throughout the world, thus providing a role model for the creation of other similar professional ensembles (The Education and Outreach Project ).
2. To commission internationally recognized composers to create original music for premiere performances and recordings (The Education and Outreach Project ).
